Grill up some Chicken this Weekend!
Start marinating some chicken pieces tonight and they will be ready to grill for tomorrow! These are so easy and tasty served with a big tossed salad or grilled vegetables. You might even have all these ingredients on hand.
Wine Marinade for Grilled Chicken:
1 cup white wine
1/2 cup corn oil
1/2 cup soy sauce
1 clove garlic, minced
1 Tablespoon Dijon mustard
Juice of 1/2 lemon
1-1/2 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper
8-12 chicken pieces of choice
In a mixing bowl, combine all the marinade ingredients with a whisk and blend well. Pour over chicken pieces placed in a shallow pan or in a ziploc bag. If using a pan, cover with plastic wrap. Marinate chicken in the refrigerator at least 4 hours, but preferable overnight, turning pieces occasionally. Grill chicken over medium coals, turning and basting often with marinade until chicken is no longer pink, about 40 minutes, depending on chicken pieces used. Makes about 6 servings.
Hi Debbi
ReplyDeleteI just came upon your blog through your twitter page. I am amazed at the amount of cookbooks, clippings and recipe cards you own! You are my hero! I love collecting the same and I laugh sometimes because I know I won't live long enough to try a tenth of the recipes I've collected but I can't stop collecting them.
I'm a New Yorker so I've visited Bonnie Slotnick's store --love it!
I am so happy to hear you found me on my twitter page, because I am not very good at tweeting yet! I can't wait to be in NYC again to visit Bonnie's store! I bet you find so much there. Thanks for writing, and I hope you continue to read the blog!
