Happy Birthday to my Kristina!!

My first-born is celebrating her birthday today!  Kristina started out as a foodie at a very young age, one time being on a culinary adventure in New York City.  Here she is posing in front of the iconic "Silver Palate," which also happens to be the subject of this weeks' cookbook giveaways (enter by tonight!) 



Later she learned to cook in a pot, not just sit in it!




Kristina loves reading cookbooks, especially here at Tyler Florence's store in Mill Valley, California



And now, Kristina is a huge success with her blog, BetterRecipes.com, cooking on television, traveling and learning around the world, and meeting culinary celebrities!

    Happy birthday, Kristina.

    I love the picture of you sitting in the stock pot, but I'm glad you learned its proper use so we can enjoy your great recipes and food adventures.
